For the second year running in the Visconti Pavilion, IKEA presents 1st, an exhibition-event dedicated to all those “first times” that people experience when they move into their first home. Designed by architect Midori Hasuike and spatial designer Emerzon, the space tells the story of the things that happen when you leave home to live on your own for the very first time: a universal yet unique and different experience for each and every one of us. The display engages visitors in several immersive installations inspired by the most important ‘first times’ related to life at home, an experience further enriched by the presentation of the brand’s latest product innovations and the opportunity to get an exclusive preview of a whole new way of experiencing the IKEA store.
