“Ròng” Contemporary Design Exhibition, a very refined Chinese collective investigates the use of traditional materials such as paper, silk, bamboo, clay and copper. The exhibition is a paradigm of Chinese creativity that combines the roots of the artisan tradition with expressions of contemporary design, summarizing a 5-year research work in which they are cataloged more than 2000 types of materials, over 30 villages visited in search of traditions and artisan mastery e invited 50 designers from different fields. On display will be 70 objects that summarize the essence of Chinese aesthetics.
